ABOUT

“Komaba Studies in Society”is a refereed journal, accepting quality articles in interdisciplinary social sciences. Since the release of the first volume in 1990 the journal has been published annually. Some master theses authored by our students are also published in this journal. Amongst the papers that have been published thus far, there are some whose full content (in Japanese) may be accessed via this page.

CALL FOR PAPERS

We are currently inviting papers submission for Volume 28 of “Komaba Studies in Society” (which will be released in March 2019) . Please click here for more details (Japanese).

  1. Content of paper: The paper must be original and unpublished that bear direct relevance to Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Submitted papers will be subject to strict evaluation by several referees.
  2. Word limit: The paper must be typed in Japanese and must contain 16,000 to 24,000 words.
  3. Deadline for submission: 22nd June 2018 [Papers submitted after this date will not be accepted]
  4. Submission procedure: Along with the article, please submit the following information in both printed and electric form (in word file) to the editorial committee of the journal by the 4th May (Friday). (1)Title of paper (tentative titles are acceptable); (2)3 keywords of the paper; (3)author’s name; (4)author’s address; (5)author’s telephone number; (6)author’s email address; (7)author’s affiliation. Please submit via standard mail the printed information to the editorial committee, addressed below. Please submit the electronic file via email to the email address listed below. Submitted article that lacks any of the information listed above will not be reviewed.
